The Concept

Many of you will have patiently sat through us telling you about the importance of choosing a good horse. Mostly, people own a horse by the time they come to us and we do our best to help them make a success of their choice. Others are seeking a horse and although we do our best to guide them, they still have to search high and low to find the right one.

Previously we stayed right out of the horse market as our hands were full simply offering education. However following numerous requests, we have decided to offer for sale a small number of our own foals / horses to our client base.

We believe that training accumulates over a long period of time so we set up our foals correctly right from the beginning. In theory they will be two and a half years onwards when we offer them to the market with the idea that our client base can choose from a source they know rather than take their chances in the general market place.

All of our young horses are at present foundation members of Sascha's foal train - her team of 10 young horses that operate in five pairs - line astern - at liberty. By being involved in the 'Foal Train' each young horse has had the benefit of:

• building great feet
• developing a healthy body
• building a foundation of basic good manners
• social exposure to herd etiquette
• individual and group handling
• a unique opportunity to develop self-confidence and worldly awareness

We also have two nice Clayton Station geldings - Clydey Cross - that we took in as weanlings and are growing and training. These will be similar in body type and athletic ability to Orion and Denver - the police horse recruits we trained.
